This is our Hunslet Yardmaster Diesel unpainted kit in OO scale, featuring a highly detailed cab and body. Designed to fit effortlessly onto a BD Concepts 28mm motor bogie chassis, this model provides an easy, secure fit. One of the pictures demonstrates how the motor installed, making it simple to attach and remove the body using a small flat-bladed screwdriver if needed. The Motor is NOT included, you need to source this yourself.
The roof is separate, allowing for easy painting and detailing before assembly. It simply drops into place on the body. For a semi-permanent fix, we recommend Roket card glue, while superglue can be used for a more permanent bond. Handrails and Glazing are supplied as well as Hornby NEM Close couplers along with a rod for the exhaust. The motor and body are light, so it is recommended that extra weight is added, either liquid gravity or lead pieces which can be added at each end of the body. See picture for example, and again, these are not included.
This is a highly detailed yet easy-to-build kit, perfect for adding character to an industrial or narrow-gauge layout. Additional detailing can be added if desired.
We 3D print our models in high-detail resin here in the UK. This sale includes the unpainted kit consisting of the chassis clips, handrails, body, and interior. The BD Concepts chassis is shown for reference only and is not included.
Finishing:
All models are cleaned and cured by hand before shipping. They come unassembled (where necessary) and are ready for priming and painting. We carefully remove support marks, but some fine sanding may still be required. Please note that resin is delicate, so handle with care to avoid breakages.
