Please do bear in mind that resin can be quite delicate so try to avoid dropping your parts! Sadly, we cant be held responsible for breakages once your item has arrived. However, if the piece is broken in the post, please provide images and we will see what we can do to help to make things good.

FAQ – Product FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
What scale is this figure and how tall is it?
This figure is G-Scale 1:22.5 (the same scale used by LGB, Bachmann etc.) and is approximately 75 mm tall, making it ideal for large scale garden and indoor layouts.
Is the figure supplied painted or unpainted?
The figure is supplied unpainted. It arrives as a bare high-detail resin model ready for you to prime and paint in your own colour scheme.
How are these figures created?
The figures are 3D scanned from real people, which gives them very realistic looks and natural poses, perfect for bringing life to your scenes.
Where is the figure produced and how is it printed?
The model is printed in the UK using high detail resin. Each item is cleaned and cured by hand before being packed for dispatch.
Is the packaging environmentally friendly?
Yes. The exterior packaging is made in part from recycled materials and is fully recyclable. The interior packing materials are acid-free and made from 99% recycled pulp fibres.
Is this figure suitable for children?
No. These items are not toys and are not suitable for minors. They contain small parts and can be a choking hazard, so they are intended for adult hobbyists and collectors only.
What should I do if my figure arrives broken in the post?
If your figure is damaged during delivery, please take clear photos of the damage and contact us. While we cannot be responsible for breakages after safe delivery, we will always see what we can do to help make things right when damage occurs in transit.
What if I accidentally break the figure after it arrives?
Resin can be quite delicate, so please handle the figure carefully and avoid dropping it. We cannot be held responsible for breakages once the item has arrived safely, but minor breaks can often be repaired with a good quality cyanoacrylate (super glue).
My figure has small marks or lines. Is this normal?
Because each item is 3D printed and finished by hand, you may see very slight print lines or tiny surface marks. These are usually minimal and can be smoothed with light sanding or will disappear under a good primer coat.
What should I do if the figure does not sit quite flat on the layout?
If the base or feet are slightly uneven, you can gently sand the contact points on a fine sanding block until they sit flat. Alternatively, a small amount of modelling putty or scenic glue under the feet will help bed the figure into your scenery.
The detail looks a bit soft in places. Can I improve it?
Often the detail will “pop” once primed. Apply a fine primer, let it dry fully, and inspect again. If needed, use a very fine file or sanding stick to sharpen edges, taking care not to remove too much material.
How should I prepare the figure before painting?
Although the figure is cleaned and cured by hand, it is good practice to:
- Gently rinse the figure in warm (not hot) soapy water.
- Use a soft brush to remove any dust or residue.
- Allow it to dry completely before priming.
Which primer should I use on this resin figure?
The model can be primed with Halfords grey primer or Tamiya Fine Surface Primer, both of which work very well on this high-detail resin. Apply several light coats rather than one heavy coat.
Do I need to remove any supports or sprues?
All items are cleaned and cured by hand, but you may occasionally find a small nub or tag from the printing process. Carefully trim these with a sharp hobby knife and lightly sand the area smooth before priming.
What type of paints work best on this figure?
Once primed, the figure will take most hobby paints well. Acrylic model paints are popular for their quick drying time and ease of use, while enamel paints can also be used if you prefer a slower-working medium.
Any tips for painting fine details like the cup of coffee?
Use a fine detail brush and thin your paint slightly so it flows smoothly. Work in layers, starting with base colours and then adding highlights and shadows. Painting the cup and hands last, once the main clothing is done, helps avoid accidental smudges.
