G-Scale Male figure - 3D scan of a real person - D022 (also GN15)

These figures are 3d scanned from real people to get both realistic looks and poses!  This unpainted figure is suitable as a great figure standing around in the yard. He is approx 75mm tall and is in G-Scale 1:22.5    (like the scale of LGB/Bachmann etc.) The model is printed here in the UK  using high detail resin. The model is supplied unpainted and can be primered with halfords grey primer or tamiya fine surface primer. All items are cleaned and cured by hand, and the figures may require some minor finishing if needed before painting. The condition is new and they are dispatched by Royal Mail 2nd class. Our packaging is Eco friendly, the exterior packing is made in part from Recycled Materials and is fully recyclable, the interior packing materials are acid free and made from 99% recycled pulp fibres. Please do bear in mind that resin can be quite delicate so try to avoid dropping your parts! Sadly, we cant be held responsible for breakages once your item has arrived. However, if the piece is broken in the post, please provide images and we will see what we can do to help to make things good. Troubleshooting FAQs

My figure arrived broken in the post, what should I do?

If your figure appears to have been damaged during delivery, please take clear photos of the damage and the packaging and contact us. While we cannot be responsible for breakages after safe delivery, we will review postal damage and see what we can do to help make things good.

The resin looks delicate; how should I handle it?

Resin can be quite fragile, so handle the figure gently and avoid dropping it or applying excessive pressure to thinner parts. Always support the figure from the base or the more solid areas when moving it.

There are small surface marks or lines on the figure, is this normal?

Some very minor surface marks can occur due to the 3D printing and curing process. These are usually easy to tidy up with light finishing before priming and painting.

What if the figure doesn’t stand properly on my layout?

If the base or feet do not sit perfectly flat, you can gently sand the underside of the feet or base on fine sandpaper placed on a flat surface. Adjust gradually until the figure stands securely.

The detail looks soft after priming, what might be wrong?

Applying too heavy a coat of primer can obscure fine details. Use light, misted coats of primer, allowing each coat to dry before adding another. If detail is obscured, avoid adding more primer and proceed with thin paint layers.
