The model is printed here in the UK  using high detail resin. The model is supplied unpainted and can be primered with halfords grey primer or tamiya fine surface primer.

All items are cleaned and cured by hand, and the figures may require some minor finishing if needed before painting. The condition is new and they are dispatched by Royal Mail 2nd class.

Our packaging is Eco friendly, the exterior packing is made in part from Recycled Materials and is fully recyclable, the interior packing materials are acid free and made from 99% recycled pulp fibres.

Please do bear in mind that resin can be quite delicate so try to avoid dropping your parts! Sadly, we cant be held responsible for breakages once your item has arrived. However, if the piece is broken in the post, please provide images and we will see what we can do to help to make things good.

Needless to say these items are not toys and are not suitable for minors as they could be a choking hazard because of small parts.

FAQ – Product FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What scale is this figure and how tall is it?

This figure is G-Scale 1:22, the same scale used by LGB and Bachmann. The woman with backpack is approximately 73 mm tall.

Is the figure supplied painted or unpainted?

The figure is supplied unpainted so you can finish it to match your own layout and colour scheme.

How is the figure produced?

The figure is 3D scanned from a real person to capture realistic proportions and pose, then printed in the UK using high-detail resin. Each item is cleaned and cured by hand.

Is this suitable for children?

No. These figures are not toys and are not suitable for minors, as small parts can present a choking hazard.

Where is the item made and shipped from?

The model is printed, cleaned and cured in the UK, and dispatched by Royal Mail 2nd Class.

Is the packaging environmentally friendly?

Yes. The exterior packaging is made in part from recycled materials and is fully recyclable. The interior packing materials are acid-free and made from 99% recycled pulp fibres.

What should I do if my figure arrives broken in the post?

If the figure is damaged during delivery, please take clear photos of the item and packaging and contact us. We will review the images and do our best to help put things right.

Are you responsible for damage after delivery?

We cannot be held responsible for breakages once the item has arrived safely. Resin can be delicate, so please handle the figure carefully and avoid dropping it.

My figure has small surface marks or lines. Is this normal?

Minor surface artefacts can occur with high-detail resin printing, especially on very fine details. These are usually easy to smooth with light sanding or careful scraping before priming and painting.

The figure does not stand perfectly on my layout. What can I do?

Uneven baseboards or tiny print variations can cause a slight wobble. You can:

  • Lightly sand the underside of the feet or base until it sits flat
  • Use a tiny spot of PVA, canopy glue, or similar to fix the figure in place
  • Blend the feet into scenic materials (ballast, grass, etc.) for extra stability

There is a small bit of flash or a tiny nub on the figure. How do I fix it?

Occasionally a small print support mark may remain. Carefully remove it with a sharp hobby knife or fine sanding stick, taking your time around delicate details.

Which primer should I use on this resin figure?

The figure can be primed with Halfords grey primer or Tamiya Fine Surface Primer, as mentioned in the product description. Apply in light coats for best detail retention.

Do I need to wash the figure before priming?

All items are cleaned and cured by hand, but many modellers still prefer to give resin figures a quick wash in mild soapy water, then rinse and let them dry fully before priming. This can help paint adhesion, especially if you have handled the figure a lot.

What type of paints work best on this resin?

Once primed, most hobby acrylics or enamels designed for models work well. Many railway modellers favour acrylics for their fast drying time and easy clean-up.

How can I avoid losing the fine detail when painting?

Use thin, well-thinned coats of paint rather than heavy layers, and allow each coat to dry before adding the next. Start with a good primer coat, then build up colours gradually to preserve the crisp 3D-scanned detail.

Can I convert or modify the figure?

Yes, you can carefully modify the resin with a sharp knife, small files, or micro-saws if you wish to customise poses or accessories. Just work slowly, support delicate parts, and test-fit frequently to avoid stress on the resin.
