OO9/009 Pannier Steam Locomotive with Coal Bunker fits the Kato chassis 11-109

Bring industrial charm to your OO9 layout with this compact pannier steam locomotive kit. This model features a coal bunker over the boiler that feeds through chutes into the cab along with distinctive side panniers  - just add your own real coal for a touch of authenticity.

The body clips neatly onto a Kato 11‑109 motor bogie chassis (not included) using our easy-fit system allowing you to remove the chassis later if you wish to reuse it. The body and cab interior are designed as separate components, making painting simple and flexible. The interior includes a detailed control section and a 3D-scanned driver and engineer figure to bring the cab to life. Two couplers are supplied to replace the Kato ones, although you can use your own preferred OO9 couplers. A small piece of brass rod and 4 handrail knobs are also provided. 

Each kit is printed in the UK using fine-detail resin. It comes unpainted and unassembled, ready for you to prime and finish with your favourite acrylic paints. We recommend Tamiya or standard car primer for best results. All parts are cleaned and cured by hand, with supports removed, though a little light sanding may be needed before priming.
