OO9 009 Hunslet quarry Narrow Gauge kit to fit onto the KATO 11-109 chassis

Experience the character of 009 narrow gauge with our Quarry Hunslet open cab locomotive kit, precision printed in high-detail resin right here in the UK.

This kit is designed to easily clip onto a Kato 11-109 motor bogie chassis—see images for fit and removal using a small flat screwdriver. The separate boiler makes painting straightforward before it simply drops into place, with flexible assembly options whether you prefer a semi-permanent fix (Roket card glue recommended) or a permanent bond (superglue).

The kit includes the handrail and four posts, so you can cut and fit as you wish, or loop around the chimney for an authentic finish. Each part is supplied unpainted, cleaned and cured by hand, ready for you to prime, paint, and customise. While we strive to remove all support marks, some fine sanding may be needed for that perfect finish.

You’ll receive the resin body, cab interior, posts, handrail, and fitting instructions. The Kato chassis example shown is for reference only and not included. Please note: resin parts are delicate, so handle with care. If your kit arrives damaged, send us photos and we’ll gladly help.
