What exactly is this product?

This is a covert AirTag case designed to disguise your Apple AirTag in an innocuous form so you can hide it on your motorbike, boat or car. It helps the AirTag pass casual inspection so it doesn’t immediately look like a tracker or alarm.

Does this product include an AirTag or bolts?

No. The listing is for the resin-printed case only. You must supply your own Apple AirTag and any bolts or fixings you wish to use.

What material is the case made from?

The case is resin printed in ABS. Each one is cleaned and cured by hand, ready for you to prime, paint and install.

Is the case already painted?

No. The case is supplied unpainted. This lets you finish it to suit your vehicle or hiding place, whether that is painting it or simply dirtying it up for extra camouflage.

Where is this product made and shipped from?

We are a UK outfit and everything is made and shipped from the UK. If you are in the UK, it is dispatched with free postage via eBay.

Is the packaging environmentally friendly?

Yes. The exterior packing is made in part from recycled materials and is fully recyclable. The interior packing materials are acid free and made from 99% recycled pulp fibres.

How do I install the AirTag into the case?

Simply place your Apple AirTag inside the case and close it as designed. Once the AirTag is seated properly, you can fix the case to your chosen location using suitable tape or bolts.

How do I attach the case to my motorbike, boat or car?

You can fix the case using strong double-sided tape (number plate tape works well) or by bolting it down. Choose a method that suits the surface and conditions where it will be mounted.

Will the case affect the AirTag’s tracking range?

The case is designed to house an AirTag without blocking its normal operation. The AirTag will still rely on nearby iPhones (and some Android devices) to report its location, as usual.

Can I still use the AirTag’s speaker when it is inside the case?

Yes. When you get near your hidden AirTag, you can still activate its internal speaker from your phone. The case is intended to disguise the AirTag, not disable its functions.

How long will the AirTag battery last in the case?

The case does not affect battery life. AirTag batteries typically last around a year, and you can monitor the battery level from your phone.

Can I check the AirTag’s battery or replace it without damaging the case?

Yes. You can open the case, remove the AirTag to check or change the battery, and then reinstall it. Take care not to overtighten any bolts when reassembling.

The case has small marks on it. Is that normal?

Yes. We do our very best to remove support marks after printing, but some fine sanding may still be required. This is normal for resin-printed parts and is easily tidied up before priming.

The fit feels tight or slightly rough. What should I do?

A light sand with fine-grit paper on any tight spots or visible support marks usually sorts it. Test-fit the AirTag gently, sand a little, then test again until the fit is snug but not forced.

The AirTag sound seems quieter. Is something wrong?

If the sound seems muffled, check that the AirTag’s speaker side is not pressed tightly against a solid surface and that the case is not packed with paint or debris. A quick clean around any openings and a slight repositioning can help.

The AirTag is not showing up in the app after installation. What can I check?

First, confirm the AirTag works normally outside the case. If it does, reinstall it making sure it is not upside down or wedged too tightly. Also check your phone’s Bluetooth, location services and internet connection.

The case came slightly warped or damaged in the post. What should I do?

Contact the seller via eBay with clear photos of the issue and the packaging. As a small UK maker we want you to be happy with the product and will work with you to resolve any problems.

How should I prepare the case for painting?

Give the surface a light sand to remove any remaining support marks, then wipe off dust. After that, apply a suitable primer for ABS resin before painting. This helps the paint adhere and gives a smoother finish.

What kind of paint should I use?

Use paints that are compatible with primed plastic or ABS resin. Many hobby acrylics and automotive spray paints work well once the case has been properly primed. Always test on a hidden area first.

How can I make the case as stealthy as possible?

For maximum stealth, paint the case to match the surface it will sit on, or simply cover it in dirt or mud once installed. Avoid bright colours or glossy finishes that might catch the eye.

Do I need to disassemble the case before painting?

Yes. Remove the AirTag and any fixings before priming or painting. Never paint with the AirTag inside, as paint and solvents can get into seams and affect the device.

Can I drill extra holes or modify the case?

You can carefully drill or file the resin if you need additional mounting options, but do so slowly and gently to avoid cracking. Any modification is at your own risk, so test on an inconspicuous area first if possible.
